But I get a pop-up containing the same error as stated above. I have even tried launching the emulator in the AVD manager, using the "Launch this AVD in the emulator command". In fact, when running the 'app', I always get the following error:Įrror while waiting for device: The emulator process for AVD Nexus_5_API_30 has terminated. However, irrespective of the device I pick (Nexus5, Pixel XL, etc.) I am unable to even run the emulator, meaning I never even see an Android device screen on my laptop screen.
After downloading Android Studio and following the instructions listed here:, I tried creating a virtual device to be run on the emulator.
